Transform a tired, run-down roadside motel on Route 66 into a hip, sought-after destination. This project involved creating a unique concept, devising a strategic market positioning plan, overseeing extensive renovations, rebranding, and repositioning the property. Our strategy focused on reinventing the property as trendsetting, nostalgic, and experiential to unlock it's rate potential and appeal not only to traditional motel guests but also a younger, more adventurous audience. We introduced amenities, events and partnerships with local businesses to offer guests an immersive Flagstaff experience.

130 years ago a bunch of wild, lonely men started hacking gold and hope out of the high country around Pikes Peak and lugging it down the mountain to Colorado Springs. They brought it into this building, minted a few fortunes and built a city. 

Fast forward two lifetimes and we have been entrusted to create, launch and nurture a new boutique hotel inspired by their story. We’re going to celebrate that era and the characters that populated it with restaurants, bars, cafes, incredible art and warm hospitality. 

This 128 room independent hotel inside a 120 year old building will stand as a monument to the historical, economic and cultural forces that shaped the Front Range ofColorado and the American West.
